Last weekend my wife Pat and I journeyed down to our place at Lake Eufaula.It was only the second time for us to go there for the weekend this year. Our good friends Gary and Charlotte Barnett, who have a trailer right next to ours, actually picked us up and we rode down with early Friday afternoon.

A driver from Texas was recently stopped and arrested on the Turner Turnpike and faces a felony drug count after 62 pounds of marijuana were seized.Xuejin Yan, 28, of League City, Texas was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on July 12 with trafficking in illegal drugs.
