The Dale Board of Education this week administered the Oath of Office to a new member, rehired certified personnel and athletic personnel and approved the hiring of several new teachers.Board members also approved temporary appropriations for 2024-2025.

Acouple of weeks ago, my good friend Steve Buoy and I journeyed out towesternOklahomaand enjoyed a spring turkey hunt.We each bagged a gobbler.It was good to see that the turkey population appears to be coming back in the areas we hunted and in those nearby as well.

The American Legion Auxiliary will be putting flags on veteran’s graves at the cemetery on Thursday, May 23rd at 9:00 a.m. If you are available, come out and volunteer. We have close to eight hundred flags that need to be placed at graves.
