Buford Vernon Parrott passed away on February 21, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born to Herbert and Laura Parrott on July 10, 1930, nearSparks,Oklahoma. Buford was very proud to have served over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed a good game of cards or dominoes.

Cushing man gets 13 years for secret filming

A District Judge has honored a Lincoln County jury’s decision and sentenced a Cushing man to 13 years in the Department of Corrections. Joseph Lee Rolan, 43, was convicted recently by a jury on one of three felony counts.
