Congratulations to Mrs. Pam Anderson on being named Citizen of the Year. Some people succeed because they are destined to, but most people succeed like Mrs. Anderson, because she is determined to. We are so proud of her longtime career as a school teacher and mentor to many students.

Robert Lyle Rayl, proud veteran of the Army, passed away on February 3, 2024, due to neurological complications suffered during several strokes. He was the son of George and Agnes Rayl and grew up a farm boy in the Wellington, Kansas, area.

Mr. Richard Leslie Irwin, a lifelong resident of Meeker, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 83. Richard was born on January 15, 1941 in Prague, Oklahoma and was the son of Cotton and Bertie (Neer) Irwin.

Kali Beall, Colton Burbach and Ashlee Beatty have been named the February Lions of the Month by the Lions Club. Kali Beall is the daughter of Kevin and Tracy Beall. After graduating, she plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and join the nursing program to get her RN or LPN.
