Billie LeeRoy Davis was born August 18, 1935 in Wellston to Walter and Ethel (Prough) Davis. He passed away June 19, 2023 in his home in Wellston at the age of 87. Billie grew up in Wellston where he graduated from high school with the class of 1953.

Robert John Jarvis, Jr. was born October 29, 2003 in Midwest City to Robert, Sr. and Teresa (Bobbitt) Jarvis. He passed away in a traffic accident June 20, 2023 at the age of 19. Robert grew up in Wellston where he attended school graduating with the Wellston Class of 2022.

Meeker board approves town’s budget

The Meeker Town Board of Trustees in their most recent meeting re-approved the General Fund and Pubic Works Authority budgets for 2023-2024. The Trustees voted 4-1 in approving the General Operating Fund budget of $1,029,272.

McLoud to probe past expenditures
