Jimmy Paul Bidack, 59, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jimmy was born on Sunday, July 7, 1963, to Richard Paul and Wilma Joann (Welch) Bidack in Oklahoma City. Jimmy grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma, graduating from Chandler High School in 1982.

North Rock Creek’s archery teams competed in the national competition in Louisville, ky. This was the fourth year for the team to ualify. The high school team, pictured at right, finished 91st out of 253 teams representing 33 states.

Mental illness pleaded in manslaughter case

A District Court judge has accepted a not guilty plea by mental illness from a Tulsa woman whose first degree manslaughter case ended in a mistrial in February of 2022.

Meeker Town Board accepts resignations

Meeker Town Board of Trustees during their most recent meeting approved a supplemental budget, accepted a coupe of resignations and agreed to fill one of those positions.

Tryon ex-officials waive jury trials

Two of three former officials with the City of Tryon facing embezzlement and conspiracy charges have waived their jury trials. Two charges of embezzlement and one for conspiracy were filed in Lincoln County District Court May 10 against former Police Chief Jered Dewayne Prickett, 47.
