Two arrested in cultivation case

Two men from Okmulgee have been arrested by Lincoln County deputies and charged with cultivating a Controlled Dangerous Substance after 386 marijuana clone plants were seized. Quing Li Zheng, 55, and Wei Goa, 41, were each charged Nov.

Bench warrant issued for Brownlee

A bench warrant has been issued for an ex-convict who failed to appear for his scheduled court hearing on two felonies and a misdemeanor. Charles Michael Brownlee, 39, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Nov.

Five-year suspended sentence

A Chandler woman facing a felony charge of child neglect has pleaded guilty and has been handed a suspended prison term. A formal charge of child neglect was filed in July against Megan Rae Eckert, 34.

Woman injured in turnpike crash

A one vehicle crash Sunday on the Turner Turnpike in Lincoln County injured a Collinsville woman, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. State Trooper Quenton Payne, who investigated the crash, identified the injured woman as Katie Short, 33.

The more, the merrier

Last Wednesday I had a doctor’s appointment we had been waiting on for a month. We got there and they were quick to call me back. Thank goodness! Sometimes you get to the doctor for visits and are stuck sitting there for some endless amount of time and that just drives me crazy.
