Murder defendant pleads to five unrelated charges

A man awaiting a jury trial on a first degree murder complaint has pleaded guilty to five additional felonies in another case and drawn five prison terms to run concurrently with one another. Cole Berginer Guy, 19 at the time, and now 20, was formally charged Feb.

Hearings on sex charges

Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for a Shawnee man facing a total of nine-related sex charges with minor. Five felony charges of lewd or indecent acts to a child were originally filed Aug. 25 in Lincoln County District Court against Danny Ray Weeks, Jr., 52, of Shawnee.

Bench warrant issued

A bench warrant has been issued for a man who failed to make his initial appearance on Nov. 3 on two felony counts. Joseph Sean Young, 54, was arrested by Lincoln County law enforcement officers on Sep. 11 and formally charged Sep.
