Commissioners approve ARPA resolution

Lincoln County commissioners this week adopted a resolution allowing nearly $100,000 in ARPA funds to be used for a Wastewater Infrastructure in the Town of Agra. County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained, “This is the actual resolution.

Agra man faces charges on sex crimes

A $100,000 bond has been set for an Agra man after he was arrested on three felonies alleging sex crimes with minors. Kenneth Taylor Simpson, 21, was formally charged on Oct. 24 in Lincoln County District Court with lewd acts to a child under 16, sodomy of a child under 16 and second degree rape.

Lions run over Luther

Chandler’s defense scored its second straight shutout and the offense got all the points it needed in a 30-second stretch in the second quarter Thursday night at Luther. The result was a 20-0 win that gave Chandler a home-field berth in the first round of the playoffs.
