I was somewhat confused when I saw the new map of the Lincoln Co redistricting.
I finally concluded that due to the fact that the portion of Lincoln Co that District 3 “inherited” was due to years of neglect it was the only way District 2 could shed the neglected roads to someone else.
On Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, the City of Chandler will join others across the nation in celebrating and honoring all those who have served and/or continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces.

Legako, a Psychology major from Wellston was named to the dean’s list in spring 2021. Biola students are placed on the dean’s list to honor those with a grade point average of 3.

The Town’s Board of Trustees voted last week to hire Jeff Wilbourn, who was serving as mayor up through the evening they hired him, as the new administrator.

The quickly approaching deadline to submit photos is 5 p.m. Nov. 4. The earlier you submit them, the better.
The salute will include photos and each veteran’s name, rank and years of service.
