Cynthia Joy (Ramseyer) Standlee of Meeker was born February 26, 1958, in Prague. She died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the age of 62 years. Standlee, the daughter of Frank Carl and Phyllis Ruth (O’Brien) Ramseyer, married Darrell Lynn Standlee on October 23, 1976.

Ralph Edwin Hall, known to everyone as Eddie, died peacefully in his sleep on February 2, 2021. He was born North of Jacktown, Okla., on December 21, 1930 to Samuel Ralph and Bessie Lou (Wilson) Hall. Eddie was rambunctious as a child and liked horses and fast cars more than school.

COVID deaths keep climbing

The number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 has climbed to 55 in Pottawatomie County over the past week, the Oklahoma State Department of Health reports. The five additional deaths reported in the county include a female 65 or older, two males, 65 or older the OSDH said.
