Meeker, Chandler and Stroud have holiday activities this week, beginning with Chandler’s tree lighting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the lawn at the Lincoln County Courthouse.
The event includes decorating contests, music, an ugly sweater contest and the tree lighting at 7:30 p.m.
The annual Christmas parade will be at 11 a.m. Saturday on Manvel Avenue.
Meeker and Stroud will have their annual Christmas parades Saturday evening, with Stroud’s beginning at 6 p.m. and Meeker’s at 6:30.
In Stroud, refreshments and entertainment begin at 5:30 at the Route 66 Pavilion on Main Street. The ugly sweater contest will be at 5:45.
In Meeker, the Friends of the Library will have a bake sale at 3 p.m. at the library. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at City Hall at 5:30.
The parade starts at 6:30.
