Talent Contest
The Prague Kolache Festival Local Talent Audition was held last month at the Prague Auditorium.
Ten participants competed for a chance at three spots to perform at the grandstand during the festival on Saturday, May 7. The teen winner, Hope Birdwell from Prague, will perform 1:20-1:30 p.m.; Jehnnie Coil from Paden will be on stage 1:30-2 p.m.; and Toby Stell from Ada has a show time of 3:40-4:15 p.m.
Tractor Pull
Among the many events taking place during the Kolache Festival, will be a Kids Tractor Pull for children ages 4-12 with nine age groups divided into two divisions, boys and girls.
The Tractor Pull, sponsored by McKee Farms, will be set up on Main Street by BancFirst.
All children who want to participate just show up there at 2 p.m. There is no entry fee.
One child at a time will pull a weighted sled by peddling a small toy tractor.
Contestants are judged by the distance they can pull the sled with more weight added as they go.
