The bravery of American soldiers is incredibly inspiring. Some of these men and women were merely kids when they decided to leave the life that they had and sacrifice the life that could have been to fight for a country they loved so much.

From the very birth of our nation to numerous wars, conflicts, and attacks, U.S. veterans have sacrificed and endured to win and sustain our freedom. Throughout The Revolutionary War that established our freedom in the first place, the World Wars, Vietnam, terrorist attacks that led to military engagements in Afghanistan and Iraq, and other conflicts, the United States Military has never failed our country. Each and every U.S. veteran is greatly appreciated and admired for their personal sacrifice. Each of these men and women made the choice to risk it all for their freedom and the freedom of every American for generations to come, and this should not be overlooked.

Even the uniform that these Veterans wear means so much. Every day that American veterans put on their uniform, they are representing something bigger than themselves. They represent one of the most powerful militaries in the world, but more importantly, they represent hope. This uniform connects them to generations of soldiers, and although the uniforms have changed over the years, they still represent the same thing: loyalty, respect, honor, and duty. They wear these uniforms with pride and honor.

Veterans have fought and sacrificed to shape our country into what it is today, and this should never be taken for granted. America is the land of the free because of the courageous, selfless, fearless, and honorable - land of the free because of the brave.
