Meeker Town Board of Trustees has approved the final General Fund and Public Works Authority budgets for the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year.
The General Fund budget totals $997,065 and the Public Works Authority budget is $1,080,250.
The Trustees also adopted a resolution for the 2024-2025 General Operating budget.
After spending some time in executive session, the Trustees returned to open meeting and voted to approve Grant Administrator Leslie Wilborn to purchase property under the new Trust Indenture subject to her obtaining a grant.
Trustees also approved the Worker’s Compensation Renewal with the Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group for $13,252.50. They approved the escrow amount of $323 for 20242025 which will lower the premium to $12,929.50.
Meeting as the PWA, Trustees voted to approve the 2024 charge off account for Meeker PWA for the past two years of $3,131.93.
The agreed to pay the Worker’s Compensation renewal with OMAG for $2,162.50 and approved the escrow amount for 2024-2025 in the amount of $128 which will lower the premium to $2,034.50.
