BrandyMeganGrotheer (Sissy, Toodles), age 36, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Edmond, Oklahoma, following a brief illness. Graveside funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Tryon Cemetery inTryon,Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Brandy was born April 5,1990,toStevenandKaren (Branstetter) Grotheer in Denver, Colorado. The family soon moved to Tryon, Oklahoma, to be close to grandparents, and she remained in this area she called home. Brandy graduated from Perkins-Tryon High School in 2008 and from the Meridian Technology Phlebotomy Program in 2011. She was employed at Stillwater Medical Center Laboratory for 14 years in various capacities. She was known for her willingness to help patients and coworkers and her ability to solve lab issues. Brandy was a lifelongmember of theTryon Christian Union Church. She accepted the Lord as her personal savior and was baptized when she was 11. She lived her life as a loving example of the love that Jesus gave her.
Brandy was a gentle soul. She loved cats, nature, especially flowers, rock music, Dr. Pepper, and all things purple.
Brandy is survived by her parents, Steven and Karen Grotheer; her brother, Brandon (Bubba) Grotheer; her grandmother, Joan(Mema)Grotheer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her furry family.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Don (Papa) Grotheer and Max (Papa) and Betty (Nana) Branstetter, and her greatgrandmother, Pauline (Nanny) Gammill.
