Brent Gregory West was born July 3, 1953, in Chandler, the fourth of six children born to George and Elizabeth (Maxwell) West. He passed away on October 8, 2026, in Midwest City at the age of 73.
Brentgraduatedfrom Chandler High School in 1972 and later attended Oklahoma State University before joining the Army, where he served for three years. He married Cathy (Duncan), and they enjoyed 47 years together. They were blessed with three children, Chanelle, Lois and Brent II.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Survivors include his wife, three children, seven grandchildren, two siblings, three nieces, a nephew and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Chandler, followed by interment in the Clearview Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
