Larry Gene Davis

A memorial service will be held for Larry Gene Davis at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. The Rev. Donnie Huffman will officiate.

Davis was born to William Odra and Loretta (Brown) Davis on March 29, 1953, in Chandler . He died Saturday, September 12, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 67 years.

He served in the United States Air Force before joining the Army National Guard where he served until retirement.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Glen Davis and Mike Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Linda (Benson) Davis of the home; his children and their spouses, Tami and Mark Linhart of Granite City, Ill., Chris and Nichole Davis of Godfrey, Ill., and Danielle and Jeremy Elliott of Edwardsville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and other family and friends.
