Wellston STEM honorees

Wellston Middle and High School students were recently awarded their Gordon Cooper STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) award for the Fall 2020 semester. Students were nominated by their instructors for excellence in STEM coursework.

Stroud donations to foster families

Members of the National Honor Society from Stroud delivered hygiene and personal products to the Department of Human Services on Friday for distribution to children in foster care.

PCJLS auction and pig roast

Despite COVID-19, the Pottawatomie County Junior Livestock Trophy Auction and Pig Roast will go on again this year. It will be the same time it always is held, the first Monday of February, but it’s location has changed. It’s scheduled for Monday, Feb.
