Meeker schedules annexation hearing

The Meeker Town Board of Trustees this week voted unanimously to set a public hearing for the proposed annexation of property around the Meeker Lake. The Trustees decided on 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 28, at the Meeker Town Hall as the date for the public hearing on the annexation.

COVID keeps climbing in area

Officials at Carney High School have named the top two graduates for the 2021 graduating class. Sarah McFadden was named Valedictorian and Sara Mayes is the Salutatorian. They were honored at commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 14. McFadden is the daughter of Bill and Yolanda McFadden.

Traffic stop leads to felony charge

A Chandler driver is facing four charges after a traffic stop by Chandler police in late March led to his arrest. Dustin Thomas Eyestone, 27, was formally charged on April 20 in Lincoln County District with a felony and three misdemeanors.
