Tryon man faces felony charges after arrest

A man from Tryon is facing four counts, among them two felonies, following his arrest in April by Tryon police officers. Formal charges were filed May 3 in Lincoln County District Court against Clayton Joseph Thomas Custard, 31.

Felony drug charge for Wellston woman

A Wellston woman is facing a drug charge after Chandler police arrested her in early April. Ashley Blanche Lowery, 33, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on April 28 with distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, including possession with intent to distribute.

Bench warrant issued for Davenport man

Authorities are seeking a Davenport man after a $15,000 bench warrant was issued for his arrest in late April on two felony charges and two misdemeanor counts. Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on April 28 against Corey Leon Barber, 43.

COVID cases climb in area

The number of new cases in the area attributed to COVID-19 has jumped a bit in Pottawatomie and Lincoln Counties, Oklahoma State Department of Health figures show. There have been two new deaths in Pottawatomie County but none in Lincoln County since the last report.
