No decision on possible tax election

Lincoln County Commissioners this week decided to hold off on calling for a special election on a possible new sales tax for countywide ambulance service and a new jail.

Kalee Peery: National champion and record-setter

Chandler powerlifter Kalee Peery won two national championships and set four national records over the weekend in the NASA High School Powerlifting Nationals. She competed in the Freshman-Sophomore Division at the 132-pound weight class and won titles in the unequipped and retro divisions.

House fire in Chandler
