Corene Valentine (Graves) Watkins, 87, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at her home in Chandler, Oklahoma. Corene was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1936 in Little Kansas, Oklahoma to Monty Lee and Virgie Elizabeth (Sisco) Graves. She was raised in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Larry Thomas Wilkins

Larry Thomas Wilkins left this earth on Friday, March 10, 2023 to rest with the Lord. He was 75 years old. Larry was born on May 30, 1947 in Shawnee, OK to Thomas and Emma Louise Wilkins. He was raised in McLoud, Oklahoma where he attended and graduated from McLoud High School.

Lewis H. Miller

Lewis H. Miller passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at his home in Chandler, Oklahoma. Lewis was born on September 5, 1943, in Chandler to Lewis M. and Verona Carmen (Eby) Miller. He attended Springdale Grade School and graduated from Chandler High School in 1961.

Sandra Lou Johnson

Sandra Lou Johnson, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was 81 years old. Sandra was born on January 13, 1942 in Chandler, OK to Harold and Clara Eyestone. Sandra attended Victor, a tworoom country school northeast of Chandler, completing eight grades in seven years.

Carl Dwight Thompson

Carl Dwight Thompson was born at Agra, Oklahoma on October 11, 1944 to the Alva & Ellen ( Wittman) Thompson. He passed from this life in Drumright on January 26, 2023 at the age of 78 years, 3 months, & 15 days. His remains will be buried in the Parkland Cemetery at a later date.

Charissia Dawn Akers

Charissia Dawn Michelle Akers was born September 6, 1993 in Ada, to Vickie Jean Harris and Donald Lee Akers. She passed away February 13, 2023 in Norman at the age of 29. Charissia attended Wellston Schools along with online schooling until later receiving her GED.

Joy Elizabeth Hudson Hart

Joy Elizabeth Hudson Hart, of Okesa, Oklahoma was born in Atlantic Field, Osage County, Oklahoma, on April 9th, 1935 to Quincy and Doshia Hoopes (Clark). Joy leapt into the arms of Jesus on the morning of February 17, 2023. She passed peacefully with her husband Merton and family by her side.

Pamela Jean Flatlie, lifelong Davenport resident, departed this life at her home on Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was born June 21, 1954 in Davenport, OK to Harold and Betty (Tipton) Waldroup. Pamela was a graduate of Davenport High School class of 1972.
