This is a day set aside to honor the fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers and great-great grandfathers.This coming Sunday is Father’s Day.It’s an honor and privilege to be the father of a beautiful young woman as our daughter Meghan is.

A few weeks ago, my good friends Steve Buoy, Steve Chlouber and I journeyed out to western Oklahoma for spring turkey hunt.It was good to see that the turkey population appears to be coming back in the areas we hunt and in those nearby as well.

The United States Supreme Court, by its historic 4-4 vote, has rejected an effort by St. Isidore of Seville Catholic School to become a publicly funded Charter School.From the outset, it has seemed to us this blatantly unconstitutional and mixing of state and church was not at all wise.

I was at the OBU RAWC, the school’s auditorium/ gymnasium, for an admitted student day. During the awards ceremony I was sitting next to this girl with curly brown hair.
