Meeker Board of Education members this week accepted the resignations of two personnel and hired an adjunct teacher along with approving the date and place for high school graduation.

Chandler splashed through a steady rain Friday night, beating Dewey, 35-6, and securing the home field advantage for the first round of the Class 2A playoffs this week.As the runnersup in District 2A-4, the Lions will host the Hugo Buffaloes, the third-place team in district 2A-3 at 7 p.m.

Tigers roll, go 10-0

Stroud pummeled the Luther Lions last week, winning 58-0, and racking up the fourth unbeaten regular season in the school’s history.The Tigers’ only close game this season was the opener against ancient rival, Chandler, which they won, 21-14.

Davenport makes the playoffs

Davenport’s Bulldogs defeated Coyle 31-22 in the final regular game of the season on the road and earned the final spot in the playoffs in the district.

A man charged with four counts of sex related acts with a minor has pleaded innocent and his case has been set for a felony disposition docket in December.Formal charges were filed July 26, 2023 in Lincoln County District Court against Bradley Jacobs, 20, address unknown.
