Oklahoma Baptist University releases honor rolls

Oklahoma Baptist University has released its honor roll lists for the spring semester.To make the President’s Honor Roll, students must have completed at least 12 semester hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.7 with no grade lower than a B.

Prague high school ahead of schedule

Construction on the new Prague High School is ahead of schedule, according to outgoing Superintendent Kimberly Fleak.At a regular school board meeting on June 8, Fleak said that Phase II is projected to be finished by January 2028, which is two months earlier than originally planned.

Schools receive $680k from CVEC in 2025

Seven school districts in Lincoln County and three in Pottawatomie County received nearly $680,000 in funds from the Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) in 2025.The cooperative directed more than $2.6 million to schools across the state last year, according to a press release.
