I was an arts kid. This is a well established fact at this point.I did theatre. Joined the dance team. Tried out choir. I was even in band for two years in junior high.

The 2025 Kolache Festival Royalty and 2026 candidates were recognized on the Floor at the State Capitol on Tuesday in the run-up to the annual festival set to take place in Prague on May 2. The festival, which as been running for 70 years, honors the Czechoslovakian heritage of the town’s first settlers. It draws thousands of visitors with traditional food and music. Prague High School has announced its valedictorians and salutatorian for the graduating Class of 2026. Valedictorians are Hope Birdwell, Kamryn Evig, Jeremiah Griffith, Britten Himle, Harley Johnson, Hayden Kinslow, Frank Provaznik, Addison Richardson and Brianna Roller.

Ethel Eunice Hall Hopkins Townsley of Chandler, OK passed away Saturday April 18, 2026, at the age of 90 (just past her 90th Birthday on Easter Sunday) in Edmond, OK. She was the youngest of 9 children born to Thomas Franklin Hall & Ethel Eunice Hagar Hall on April 5, 1936, in Wellston, OK.
