The Wellston 4H and FFA Booster Club hosted their annual trophy and benefit auction Saturday, October 11th. There were nearly one hundred and fifty community members in attendance, raising over $25,000 to supportWellston 4H and FFA members.

About this time of year, I start reflecting back a little to see how well up I’ve kept up with my resolutions for this year. I was late and it took a little longer for me to jot down the resolutions for 2025.

Chandler’s fastpitch team and drama department are headed for state competitions. The Lady Lions swept Jones in their fastpitch Super regional and will play Sequoyah-Tahlequah at noon Thursday in the state tournament. The game will be on Field 4 at the Softball Hall of Fame complex in Oklahoma City. For more on softball, see Page 1D. Photo/Brian Blansett

A Meeker man faces a first degree manslaughter charge after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a fatal multiple traffic collision in Lincoln County in late August.Michael Lee Angel Figueroa, 31, was charged in Lincoln County District Court Oct.
