Oklahoma State University announced area honor rolls

Honor rolls have been released for the 2021 spring semester at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Full-time undergraduate students who completed 12 or more hours with a grade point average of 4.0 made the President’s Honor Roll, and students with a GPA of 3.

Celebrating 46 years in the classroom

Donna Tonubbee is a soft-spoken person, but the words she spoke as a school teacher have helped shape generations. Monday, May 17, North Rock Creek celebrated Tonubbee’s retirement with a reception recognizing her 46 years as an elementary school teacher there.

Area swimming pools opening soon

It’s summer time, and local swimming pools are opening. The Chandler public pool is currently closed, but they are hoping to open sometime in the next couple of days according to the city manager, James Melson. Once it opens, the hours will be Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.

The children and grandchildren of Michael and Gail (Brown) Walters would like to extend their love and best wishes upon their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The couple was married June 11, 1971. Their children are Steve and his wife Lacey and daughter Monica and her husband Tim.
