Edmond man charged with felony bail jumping

An Edmond man who failed to show for a court appearance and who has a $100,000 bench warrant out for his arrest has been charged with bail jumping, a felony.

All-conference slowpitch team

Ruthie Capps has been named the 66 Conference Most Valuable Player for slow-pitch and Bryan Herring is the Coach of the Year.They headlined the all-conference team, which was released this week.

Chandler headed to prison

A Chandler man with at least one previous conviction facing two new felonies has entered guilty pleas to both and drawn prison time on each count.Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District on March 24, 2025 against Scott Grady Sweeden, 46.

Local school boards, like all other public entities, are expected to comply with the state’s Open Meeting Law.In fact school board members are required to attend and complete a certain number of hours of education and the Open Meeting Act is part of that.There’s a good reason for the law.
