Trial reset for Sparks man

A Sparks man facing four felonies and a couple of misdemeanors has been ordered to stand trial for the second time this year.Formal felony charges were filed May 4, 2022 in Lincoln County District Court against James Leonard Smothers, 41 following his arrest by Lincoln County deputies.

Bond reduced in manslaughter case

The bond for a California woman facing a manslaughter charge as the result of a fatal traffic collision has been reduced, court records show.A formal count of first degree manslaughter was filed in March 22 this year Lincoln County District against Ariel Navarro, 32, of Banning, Calif.

Bench warrant issued

A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Stroud man who faces two felonies.Sahlamon Marquis David Godwin was formally charged in Lincoln County District on April 9 this year with second degree burglary and larceny of automobile, aircraft or other motor vehicle.
