Hearing set for Wellston attorney

A Preliminary hearing has been scheduled for aWellston attorney facing five drug related charges who reportedly violated a judge’s order and is now held without bail. Formal felony charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court Dec. 6 against Debra Dawn Campbell, 59.

Dale accepts resignation of high school principal

The Dale Board of Education during its meeting this week renewed the principal contracts for two and accepted the resignation of another principal and an elementary teacher. School Supt.

A charge of soliciting prostitution filed against a Meeker School Board member in June of 2022, was dismissed last week by state prosecutors. Bret Wood, 53 at the time, was charged on June 16 of last year with the misdemeanor. He was accused of between Aug. 23, 2020 and Sep.

The Chandler High School Powerlifting team won the Small School Team Championship at Firelake Arena on Friday, Feb. 3rd in Shawnee. The Chandler boys team had 178 points to win the meet and the runner, up team was Davis with 107 points. There were 22 small school teams in attendance.

Arraignment delayed due to winter weather

The scheduled arraignment for a Chandler couple charged with sex-related crimes to a minor following their arrest by Lincoln County deputies has been postponed due closure of the courthouse because of the recent wintry weather conditions.
