Lincoln County commissioners this week named a new County Emergency Management Director and also approved several more Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Certificates of Compliance.

Six felony charges waiting for Stroud man

A bench warrant issued for a Stroud man in early June remains outstanding as he now faces a total of six felonies in three separate cases that have been filed against him since early April.

COVID cases keep climbing

A driver from Wellston facing a felony count of driving while under the influence of alcohol and three other charges following his arrest by a state trooper, has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Donald Gene Barnett, 51, was arrested by State Trooper Barrett Karlin on July 3.

Charges against driver

A driver who was stopped on the Turner Turnpike now faces two felonies, one of those for trafficking in illegal drugs. A state trooper arrested David Robledo, 46, of Sherman Oaks, Calif., in early July on the turnpike. A $150,000 bond has now been issued for Robledo’s arrest.
