Bench warrant issued for Stroud man

A $50,000 bench warrant has been issued for a Stroud man who is facing two felony counts following a reported altercation in April involving domestic violence.

J. Dennis Green

The Rev. J. Dennis Green was born February 16, 1949, in Perry, Okla. He died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 72 years. Green, the son of Jack Mervyn and Ceawilla Dean (Adam) Green, married Leslie Ann Robinson on October 20, 1967, in Midwest City, Okla.

Ruth Steadman

Ruth Steadman of Wellston was born April 13, 1932, in Shelly, Idaho, and died Friday, May 14, 2021, at the age of 89 years. Steadman, the daughter of Francis Leo and Vessie Viola Barrows, married Jake H. Stewart on April 26, 1954, in Tacoma, Wash.

Phyllis June Bryson

Phyllis June (Mathes) Bryson of Stroud was born August 31, 1938, in Stroud and died Friday, May 14, 2021. She was 82 years old. Bryson, the daughter of Lloyd and Minnie (Caudill) Mathes, married James H. Bryson on November 14, 1958, in Tecumseh, Okla.

Randall Lynn Bowen

Randall “Randy” Lynn Bowen was born May 8, 1963. He died unexpectedly on May 17, 2021 at his home in Edmond, Okla. He was 58 years old. A funeral will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Chandler.

Alma Lee Gooch

Alma Lee Gooch (White) of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away at home with loving care from her daughter and granddaughter on May 12, 2021. Alma Lee, fondly know as “Mama Gooch” was born in Charlotte, N.C., to Louise Balliet and Homer White on May 13, 1942.
