Stroud man charged with felony assault

A Stroud man has been charged in Lincoln County with a felony following his arrest by Stroud police in December. Brandon Darrell Gordon, 42, was formally charged on Dec. 28 last month in Lincoln County District Court with Domestic Assault and Battery in presence of a minor.

Roy Theodore “Papaw” Beller

Roy Theodore “Papaw” Beller of Harrah, Okla., was born July 21, 1926, in Washington, Okla. He died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the age of 94 years. He married Faye McClure on October 8, 1945.

Reynold Larry Branson

Reynold Larry Brannon of Pawnee, Okla., was born April 18, 1937, in Devils Lake, N.D. He died Saturday, December 26, 2020, at the age of 83 years. Brannon, the son of Reynold William “Bill” Klick and Rose Brannon, married Kay Clary in 1956. He graduated from Del City High School in Del City, Okla.

Roy Dene Nikkel

Roy Dene Nikkel of McLoud, Okla., was born in Elk City, Okla., and died Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was 84 years old. Nikkel, the son of Walter and Ruth Lau Nikkel, married Elfrige Seals on September 5, 1959. He graduated from high school in 1955 in Alfalfa, Okla.

Sara Elizabeth Kinnear

Sara Elizabeth Kinnear of Edmond, Okla., was born to Robert and Beth Kinnear on February 3, 1991, in Oklahoma City. She died Monday, December 21, 2020, from pneumonia. She was 29 years old. Kinnear, a 2009 graduate of Santa Fe High School in Edmond, worked at Cupcakes to GoGo in Edmond.

Judy NaVon Stevens

Judy NaVon Stevens was born February 18, 1949, in El Cajon, Calif., and died Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Shawnee, Okla. She was 71 years old. Stevens was preceded in death by her parents Ola Bois “Pete” and Francis NaVon Peters and her brother David Bois.
