The other night I received a call about 8:15 from a good friend. When I asked him how he was doing, he told me, “Not very good.” I could tell he was crying and asked what was wrong.He said his daughter had overdosed on drugs and that he had found her dead earlier in the day.

Good friends and good times

Last weekend my wife Pat and I journeyed down to our place at Lake Eufaula.It was only the second time for us to go there for the weekend this year. Our good friends Gary and Charlotte Barnett, who have a trailer right next to ours, actually picked us up and we rode down with early Friday afternoon.
