1. Update on Meeker Lake “Quapaw 15 Project
Still waiting on camera inspection on concrete water tower waterpipe.
2. Update on Glenncrest Park
A. Gathering up large rocks to be placed in flower beds.
B. Waiting on shipment of mulch & playground sets.
C. Basketball goal post almost completed. Thanks to Irwin Staal for donation of pipe for goal post.
D. Paint has been bought for T-set back stop.
E. OG&E engineers working on security lights.
F. Concrete stain cleaner has been purchased.
G. New basketball area has been powered washed.
H. Rubberized sealer for B-ball surface purchased.
I. Negotiations still going on for asphalt parking lot.
3. Update on PWA Town Trustees approved another resolution for a $150,000 nonmatching grant for water amd sewer lines.
4. A lot of clean up around sewer plant and disposing of select waste by Central Disposal.
5. No D.E.Q. Violations
6. Police Update on Tasers
Town Trustees voted to approve a 5 yr. contract to be paid out for state of the art tasers.
We all witnessed a demonstration on the taser 7 handguns.
You do not want to be shot with one of those tasers.
It scared me when they first shot one off, let alone when the barb sticks in you.
The police said they did not have to shoot off their tasers last year. The old tasers have become obsolete & battery chargers did not work.
7. Please keep your social distancing of 6 feet, wash hands often and keep sanitizing.
