Brenda Sue Rambin

Brenda Sue Rambin (Speer), 67, of Rockport, Texas, passed away at her home peacefully on February 11, 2024.

Brenda was born on August 7, 1956, in Cushing, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Stroud High School in 1973, while living in Kendrick. Brenda always called Kendrick her hometown. However, she lived all over the United States including: Oxnard, CA; Oklahoma City; Enid; Shawnee (where she attended nursing school); Fort Worth; and her final home in Rockport, Texas.

Brenda was a dedicated nurse for 30 years, always approaching her work with a serious and caring attitude. She was a devoted caregiver and a loving wife to her husband, Marco. Brenda was a fun and loving mother, who found joy in music, singing and spending time with her family. She cherished the time listening to her sons play music together. She was known for her ornery sense of humor and contagious laughter. Brenda loved the Lord and her faith was never ending.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Michael Rambin, Chris Melson, and Marco Rambin II; as well as her grandchildren, Curtis Rambin, Dawson McElroy, and Colton Rambin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marco Rambin; son, Ronnie Rambin; mother, Betty Speer (Warden); father, Raymond Speer; brother, Allen Speer; and sister, Patricia Ingram (Speer).

Brenda’s legacy as a compassionate nurse and beloved mother and grandmother will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Come celebrate Brenda’s life with us on March 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunnylane Family Church (4221 SE 41st Del City, OK 73115), and later at 2:00 p.m. at Kendrick Cemetery.
