Melvin Ray Peace passed away onAugust 24, 2024, at home in Morristown, Arizona.
Melvin was born February 16, 1939, on the family farm east of Rossville, Oklahoma to Helmuth and Ethel (Arrant) Peace. He graduated from Chandler High School, Chandler, Oklahoma in 1957.Melvin joined the Army in May 1962, and served for two years. After leaving the Army, Melvin continued living in California.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and sister-in-law, a brother, and two sisters and brothers-in-law He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. September 28, 2024 at Rossville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
