We kept the grandson part of this weekend and when Pat and I and little Liam were riding around on Saturday we drove by several fireworks stands. It’s hard not to drive by one as many as there are around and they’ve been selling fireworks for at least a couple of weeks already.

Bench warrant issued in endangerment

A $25,000 bench warrant has been issued one of two persons arrested and charged last September with child endangerment after he failed to appear for his court hearing. Charged with felony child endangerment was Khalil Steele, 23, no address listed.

‘Time served’ recommended in child’s death

A Lincoln County jury has found a murder defendant guilty of the lesser crime of second degree manslaughter and recommended time served as his punishment. The jury returned its verdict against Khristian Tyler Martzall, 32, of Wellston after 1 a.m. following more than eight hours of deliberations.

A Lincoln County jury has convicted an Oklahoma City biker of first degree manslaughter in the shooting death of a Midwest City man in September of 2021. The jury found Steven Roberts, 56, guilty of shooting Daniel Aaron, 33, in the back as he drove his motorcycle on U.S.

We’ve been curious about the ancestry of our dog, Reno, so Kindra ordered a doggy DNA kit a few weeks ago. First, who among us knew that doggy DNA tests were a thing? Not me. But the company that did Reno’s test says it has done more than three million tests, so it certainly qualifies as a thing.

Lincoln County commissioners this week approved submitting the Fiscal Year 2024 Estimate of Needs to the County Excise Board and tabled naming a construction manager for the jail renovation and expansion project.
