NRC softball: Trip to the finals

It was their first shot at the fast pitch state playoffs and the North Rock Creek Lady Cougars made it count, going all the way to the Class 3A state championship game.

Davenport’s Bulldogs earned their third shutout of the year by running over Foyil 48-0 in their district opener and homecoming last Friday night. They ran their record to a perfect 6-0. They are 1-0 in district play.

Stroud pounded Konawa Friday night, running up 374 yards of total offense and winning the battle of the Tigers, 50-0. The win put Stroud at 3-0 in District A-7 and in a three-way tie for first place with Mounds and Okemah.
