On June 3, 2024, angels came and took our Betty, Mom, and Nana away to Heaven. She is sorely missed.Betty and her twin sister, Maxine, were born November 5, 1941, to Howard Henderson Russell and Ethyl Viola (Baer) Russell.

New entrance for NRC

Construction of a new entrance to North Rock Creek School off of SH 18 should start sometime this month, District 1 Pottawatomie County Commissioner Melissa Dennis says.Dennis said she is waiting on a crop to be cut before she begins construction.
