Meeker Town Board

Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees this week approved a supplemental budget for the fiscal year of 2023-2024 and agreed to tear down the old car wash east of the Fire Department.Mary Conner, Town Clerk and Treasurer, said the supplemental budget approved is for $101,298.

Easter

Seldom do I have accompany my wife Pat when she goes to buy groceries. Two or three months back though, I decided to go with her so I could help, primarily to push the cart and assist her once the groceries were paid for and bagged.

Pauline Louise Whitnah

Pauline Louise Whitnah was born August 26, 1938, in Wellston to Georgeand Alvena (Kreig) Stein. She passed away April 6, 2024, in Edmond at the age of 85.A full obituary will be posted in next week’s edition of the Lincoln County News.
