Trial moved until May

The trial for a woman who was employed as a full time in-home nurse and charged with child abuse has been continued until the May jury docket. Candice Elizabeth Bootenhoff, 39, of Luther was formally charged Oct. 31, 2022 in Lincoln County District Court with felony child abuse.

Kingdom of Heaven

We all need to remember that Jesus taught the kingdom of God, and that’s what He said we must enter into. So, we really need to take seriously the fact that Jesus died so that we can be forgiven, and now we can enter in, but we must remember the ways of man are not found there.

Central Oklahoma, including Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties, experienced sub-zero wind chills and snow causing slick and hazardous roads across much of the area. Lincoln County Emergency Management Director Cody McDonell said on Monday, “It hasn’t been too bad.

Prague man pleads guilty

A Prague man has entered a blind guilty plea on a first degree manslaughter charge and his sentencing has been scheduled. A formal charge was filed March 2 this year in Lincoln County District Court against Joseph Resin Linnhuber. The charge is the result of a fatal traffic collision.
The Wellston Masonic Lodge 369 presents a check to Randy Franklin. The check was from a recent fundraiser and auction held in Wellston in December sponsored by the Wellston Masonic Lodge, plus matching funds from the Masonic Charity Foundation.
