The 2023-2024 hunting and fishing regulations are out now, hot off the press and State Game Warden Mike France says there are no major changes. France is assigned to Pottawatomie County and also assists in Lincoln County when needed. Jacob Harriet is the warden assigned to Lincoln County.

Trial set in abuse case

A Chandler man facing a felony charge of domestic abuse by strangulation has pleaded not guilty and a trial date has been set. following a reported incident at a Chandler residence has waived his preliminary hearing.

Hearings pending in McLoud drug case

Pre-preliminary hearings have been set for two McLoud men facing three felony charges each in connection with trafficking illegal drugs, cultivation of a controlled substance and possession of firearms during commission of a felony.

Hearing continued in Stroud chase

A pre-preliminary hearing has been continued for a driver facing four charges after he reportedly led Stroud police on a high speed pursuit and was arrested.
