Blind plea nets three prison terms

A woman who entered a blind plea during the middle of her trial in February has been handed three lengthy prison terms. Felony charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court April 4, 2022 against Angela Renee Gordon, 42, Claremore.

Pursuit suspect due in court

A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for today for a man involved in a high speed pursuit that reportedly started in Perkins, went down U.S. 177 clear to I-40 and ended up at the Dale Middle School after partially running through a farmer’s wheat field.

After 87 years of a life well lived, John (Johnny) Daniel Davis of Meeker, Oklahoma died April 4, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma from a sudden illness. He was born January 15, 1936, in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, to Grady Lee Davis and Amy Jannie (Smith) Davis.

Jonathan Charles Levy

James Henry Davis died on April 8, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home in Stroud, OK. Jim was born to Howard P. Davis and Irma F (Simpson) Davis on March 21, 1939 in Manhattan, Kansas. He graduated from Laramie High School and then went on to the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY.

William Byrd Greer
