Chandler Chamber to meet

The Chandler Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon, Tuesday, May 10, at the Route 66 Interpretive Center. The caterer will be Big Willy’s. This month’s meeting and luncheon will feature a networking event.

A Luther man has been charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors after allegedly discharging a firearm in a case investigated by Lincoln County deputies and other officers.

Prague woman dies in car crash

A Prague woman was killed and two people from Paden were critically injured recently in a two-vehicle traffic collision east of Prague in Lincoln County. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Caleb Scott identified the woman who died as Joan H. Marlowe,79.

Alumni weekend is fast approaching and the Class of 1962 will be celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. Friday night, May 27th, the class will be gathering at the FFA building which is attached to the south side of the old high school gymnasium, Memorial Gym.

McLoud to increase utility rates

The McLoud City Council, meeting as the Public Works Authority, has adopted a resolution to increase utility rates for residential customers. By adopting the resolution, the Authority members put in place the increase they passed during their March meting.
