Kathryn (Clover) Greene was born March 25, 1930 and passed away December 18, 2020 at the age of 90. She was born in Oklahoma City to Henry Earl and Mary Clover. She was raised in Chandler, Okla., and was the oldest of 7 children. She was the drum major at Chandler High School and graduated in 1947.

Shawnee resident Barbara Sue Davis, 66, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 in Shawnee. A memorial service was held Friday, December 18, 2020 at Stroud Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends was held following the service at Jesus First Baptist Church in Stroud, Okla.

Bobby Ray Armitage, 86, was born October 10, 1934 in Oklahoma City to Gay “Shorty” and Edith (Nicely) Armitage. He passed away December 17, 2020 in his home in Meeker with his family at his side. Bob grew up in the Rossville area and attended White Rock School.

Clyde Henry Riggs Jr. was born July 21, 1957 in Stroud, Okla. He departed this life in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the age of 63. Henry was the son of Clyde Henry Sr. and Anna Lee (Skaggs) Riggs and the younger brother to Darla (Riggs) Rider.

Quilts of Valor at Mammoth Baptist

The Quilts of Valor Foundation presented quilts to 14 veterans Saturday at Mammoth Baptist Church, west of Meeker. The foundation was organized in 2003 by Blue Star mother Catherine Roberts and has a mission of covering veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts of valor.
