Mary Ione (Connelly) Sitton was born November 5, 1934 in Wellston to Clarence and Nora (Grover) Connelly. She passed away May 14, 2023 in Chandler at the age of 88.
Ione grew up in the Wellston and Carney area where she graduated with the Wellston Class of 1953.
Ione was preceded in death by her son, David Joe Brown; first husband, Raymond Wesley Brown; brothers, Leland Connelly, Lawrence Connelly, and Glenn Connelly. Survivors include her daughter, Wilma and her husband David Bouska; stepchildren, Dub Brown, Gene Brown; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eva Connelly; along with a host of other family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Noon, Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Star Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
