Ann Metheny, longtime Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born December 31, 1937, in Corinth, Mississippi.
She departed this life on December 1, 2023, inShawnee,Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Verna Morse; daughter Kelly Crawford; grandson Matthew Kalka; and two brothers. Survivors include her husband Bob of 67 years; one son, Greg Metheny of Shawnee; four daughters, Kim Metheny of Shawnee, Karen Gough and husband Vernon of Chandler, Karla Kalka and husband Mark of Chandler, and Kandy Merry of Shawnee; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Agraveside service was held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with Pastor Dale Carney officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
